6  | 一，求地半径差以验地心实高、地面视高之不同。康熙五十四年五月甲子午正，在申昜春园测得太阳高七十三度一十六分零二十三微，同时于广东广州府测得太阳高九十度零六分二十一秒四十八微。申昜春园赤道距天顶三十九度五十九分三十秒，广州府赤道距天顶二十三度十分，偏西三度三十三分。时夏至后八日，日躔最高，用平三角形推得地半径与太阳距地心比例，如一与一千一百六十二。又康熙五十五年三月丙申午正，在申昜春园测得太阳高五十三度零三分三十八秒一十微，同时于广东广州府测得太阳高六十九度五十四分零八秒三十六微。时春分后八日，日躔中距，推得地半径与太阳距地心比例，如一与一千一百四十二。乃以太阳最高与本天半径比例数一０一七九二０八与地半径比例数一一六二之比，为太阳最卑与本天半径比例数九八二０七九二与地半径比例之比，得一千一百二十一。既得三限距地心之远，用平三角形逐度皆推得地半径差。 |
