144  | 八月癸亥，洋兵至通州，载垣诱擒英使巴夏礼解京。戊辰，瑞麟等与洋兵战于八里桥，不利。命恭亲王奕欣为钦差大臣，办理抚局。己巳，上幸木兰，自圆明园启銮。丁丑，上驻跸避暑山庄。李世忠以擒叛将薛成良擢授江南提督。戊寅，诏曰：「江南提督张国梁谋勇兼优，忠义奋发。在军十年，战功卓著，东南半壁，倚为长城。本年大营溃散，回援击贼，受伤没水。先后奏报，朕犹冀其不确。迄今数月，其为效死捐躯无疑。若使张国梁尚在，苏、常一带，何至糜烂若此。追念荩劳，益深怆恻。赠太子太保，入祀昭忠祠，分建专祠。子孙几人，送部录用。」己卯，命都兴阿带兵入卫，从官文请也。命玉明、成凯、乐斌、文煜、英桂督兵入卫。辛巳，命恒福驻古北口备防，吴廷栋接转文报。壬午，浙江官军克复平湖、嘉善。广东官军克复乐昌、仁化癸。未，江苏贼陷常熟。圆明园灾，常嫔薨，内务府大臣、尚书文丰死之。庚寅，恭亲王奏请还巴夏礼于英军。薛焕奏劾冯子材赴援金坛，拥兵不进，致令城陷。诏薄谴之。 |
