6  | 《王氏书苑》十卷，《书苑补益》八卷。是书亦明王世贞编，詹景凤续编。初，世贞纂古书家言》多至八十馀卷。抚郧阳时，择取十数种什梓板，藏襄阳郡斋，因水涨漂失，寻复以刻本五种畀王元贞，翻刻于金陵，题曰《王氏书苑》。万历辛卯，元贞与詹景凤续刻八种，题曰《书苑补益》。世贞《书苑五种，曰张彦远《法书要录》十卷，米芾《海岳书史》一卷，苏霖《书法鈎元》四卷，黄伯思《东观馀论》二卷，黄■〈言乃〉东观馀论附录》一卷，《景凤补益》八种，曰孙过庭《书谱》一卷，姜夔《续书谱》一卷，米芾《宝章待访录》一卷，欧阳修《试笔》一卷，宋高宗《翰墨志》一卷，曹士冕《法帖谱系杂说》二卷，吾邱衍《学古编》一卷，刘惟志《字学新书》摘抄一卷。诸书皆有别本单行。世贞特裒合刻板，遂自立名目。是则明人锢习，虽贤者不免矣。朱国桢《涌幢小品》曰：王弇州不善书，好谈书法。其言曰，吾腕有鬼，吾眼有神。此说一倡，于是不善画者好谈画，不善诗文者好谈诗文，极于禅元，莫不皆然。古语云：知者不言，言者不知。吾友董思白于诗画一时独步，然对人绝不齿及也。其诋諆世贞至矣。然世贞品题书画，赏鉴家实，不以为谬，殆以好谈致谤欤。如此书及《画苑》，皆其好谈之一徵也。。 |
