37  | 布，弘正第三子。始，弘正为田季安裨将，镇临清，布年尚幼，知季安身世必危，密白其父帅其所镇之众归朝，弘正甚奇之。及弘正节制魏博，布掌亲兵，国家讨淮、蔡，布率偏师隶严绶，军于唐州，授检校秘书监、兼殿中侍御史。前后十八战，破凌云栅，下郾城，布皆有功，擢授御史中丞。时裴度为宣抚使，尝观兵于沱口，贼将董重质领骁骑遽至，布以二百骑突出沟中击之；俄而诸军大集，贼乃退去。淮西平，拜左金吾卫将军、兼御史大夫。十三年，丁母忧，起复旧官。十五年冬，弘正移镇成德军，仍以布为河阳三城怀节度使，父子俱拥节旄，同日拜命。时韩弘亦与子公武俱为节度使，然人以忠勤多田氏。 |
