54  | 何休，字邵公，任城樊人也。父豹，少府休。为人质朴讷口，而雅有心思，精研六经》，世儒无及者。以列卿子诏，拜郎中，非其好也，辞病而去。不任州郡，进退必以礼。太𫝊陈蕃辟之，与参政事。蕃败，休坐废锢，乃作《春秋公羊，解诂，覃思，不闚门十有七年。又注训孝经》、《论语》，风角七分，皆经纬典谟，不与守文同说。又以《春秋》驳、汉事六十馀条，妙得《公羊》本意。休善歴算，与其师博士羊弼，追述李育意，以难二传。作《公羊墨守、左氏膏盲、谷梁废疾党禁解。又辟司徒羣公表。休道术深明，宜侍帷幄。幸臣不悦之，乃拜议郎。屡陈忠言，再迁諌议大夫。光和五年卒，年五十四。 |
