《緗素雜記》云:「《後漢禰衡傳》云:『衡方為《漁陽摻撾》,蹀躞而前。』注云:『《文士傳》曰:衡擊鼓作《漁陽參捶》,踏地來前,躡鼓足跗,容態不常,鼓聲甚悲,易衣畢,復擊鼓摻捶而去。至今有《漁陽摻捶》,自禰衡始也。臣賢按,搥及撾並擊鼓杖也,參撾是擊鼓之法。而王僧孺詩云:散度《廣陵》音,參寫《漁陽》曲,而於其詩自音云:參,七甘反。後諸文人多同用之。據此詩意,以參為曲奏之名,則槌字入于下句,全不成文,下云復參撾而去,是知參撾二字當相連而讀,參字音為去聲,不知何所憑也。』按《談苑》載:『徐鍇仕江左,領集賢學士校秘書,時吳淑為校理,《古樂府》中有摻字者,淑多改為操,蓋章草之變。鍇曰:非可以一例,若《漁陽摻》者,音七鑒反,三撾鼓也。禰衡作《漁陽摻撾》,《古歌詞》云:邊城晏聞《漁陽摻》,黃塵蕭蕭白日暗。淑歎服之。』餘謂捶、撾一也,故或用捶字,然摻字當如徐說音七鑒反,三撾鼓也,以其三撾,故因謂之摻。故唐李義山《聽鼓詩》云:『欲問《漁陽摻》,時無禰正平。』又《口占詩》云:『必投潘嶽果,誰摻禰衡撾。』亦以去聲讀之也。觀《筆談論廣陵散》云:『散是曲名,如操弄摻談序引之類』,乃引潘岳《笙賦》云:『流《廣陵》之名散。』又應璩書云:「書」原作「詩」,今據宋本、徐鈔本校改。『聽《廣陵》之清散。』則知散為曲名明矣。所謂《漁陽摻》者,正如《廣陵散》是也,此僧孺詩所以有云。又宋景文《喜雨詩》云:「文」原作「父」,今據宋本、徐鈔本校改。『波生客浦揚舲遠,潤逼《漁陽》撾摻遲。』又《送李冀州詩》云:『征鼙曲曲《漁陽》,後乘人人鄴下才。』皆以去聲呼之,但字從人為異耳。」
