81  | 或曰：原祖叨恩未畢，而即方主命，謂其壞世，吾能明矣。且其子孫萬世之愆，愈增主怒，吾亦能明也。今云以一人而救世，似見其不知量，並不知天主之尊大矣。蓋欲壞世，不但立教立表，而猶有人類之罪欲補。至論補罪，即原祖一人一時之罪，人雖聖，亦不能補。況萬世萬民之罪乎？蓋天主至尊，人至卑，以至卑而獲罪於至尊者，罪極重也。今欲補其罪之重，夫一人焉，有補之相稱哉？即補之至極，不過一死而已。得罪人主，而以死罰之，不為過矣。得罪天主，而亦以此補之，可乎？若以一人為救世者，則死止此一人，而獲罪者億兆；死止一次，而獲罪者固多端；死止一時，而獲罪者千萬世。如是僅以一人之死補之，可乎？即起天下萬民而全戮於天主之前，抑猶有限，況一人、一次、一時之死乎？於是欲行其全補之功，非尊同天主，不能稱也。 |
