18  | 自蘇子美監一有察字奏邸，舊例鬻故官┮以賽神，因而宴客。時館閣諸名公畢集，獨李定不預，遂捃摭其事，言於中丞王拱辰。御史劉元瑜迎合時宰之意，興奏邸之獄，一時英俊一作雋斥逐殆盡，有一網打盡之語。故梅聖俞有詩云：一客不得食，覆羹傷眾賓。蓋指李定也。自此禁苑闕人，上謂少年輕薄不足為館閣重，時宰探上意，乃引彭乘備數。乘，蜀人，少時常欲贄所業於張忠定公，因門僧文鑒求見，僧先以所贄示公，公覽之殆遍，都擲於地，乘大慚而退，其謬可知矣。及在翰林，有邊帥乞朝覲，上許候秋涼即途，乘為批答，詔云：「當俟肅肅之候，爰堪靡靡之行。」田況知成都，兩蜀荒歉，飢民流離，況即發倉賑濟，既而上表待罪，乘又當批答，云：「才度巖巖之藎便興惻惻之情。」人傳以為笑。後觀趙子崧《中外舊事》云：嘉潭∮希李駙馬都尉和文之子少師端願作來燕堂，會翰林趙叔平概、歐陽永叔脩、王禹玉幀⑹潭鐐踉叔洙、舍人韓子華絳，永叔命名，原叔題榜，聯句刻之石，可以想見一時人物之盛。蓋仁宗末年，文富二公為相，引用得人如此。 |
