命行在刑部、都察院、錦衣衛三日內悉上所鞫獄囚罪狀，帝親覽決真犯死罪，依律連坐以下免死，謫戌追贓，流徒以下運甎贖罪及罰鈔釋免有差。凡宥免三千餘人。遣安逺侯桞升征黎利，黔國公沐晟自雲南引兵㑹之，帝聞王通敗，大駭，乃命升充總兵官，保定伯梁銘副之，都督崔聚為右參將，尚書李慶參贊軍務，帥師由廣西赴討。又命沭晟及興安伯徐亨、新寧伯譚忠從雲南進兵，敕通固守以俟。又以黃福仍兼交阯布、按二司事，與升等同行。質實，梁銘，汝陽人。崔聚，懐逺人。李慶，字德孚，順義人。徐亨，興安伯祥之孫，丁未。二年春正月，申明屯田法。帝命戸部申明屯田之法，謂侍臣曰：「海內無事，軍士量留守備，餘悉屯種所，收足以給衣食，則國家可省養兵之費。然朕以為立法固善，尤在任用得人，其令兵部移文所司，選老成軍官提督屯田，仍命風憲官以時巡察」。
