95  | ○心之憂矣，如或結之。今茲之正，胡然厲叶力桀反矣。燎之方揚，寧或滅之。赫赫宗周，褒姒音似烕呼悅反之。賦也。正，政也。厲，暴惡也。火田為燎。揚，盛也。宗周，鎬京也。褒姒，幽王之嬖妾。褒國女，姒姓也。烕，亦滅也。○言我心之憂如結者，為國政之暴惡故也。燎之方盛之時，則寧有能撲而滅之者乎。然赫然之宗周，而一褒姒足以滅之。蓋傷之也。時宗周未滅，以褒姒淫妬讒諂，而王惑之。知其必滅周也。或曰：此東遷後詩也，時宗周已滅矣。其言褒姒烕之，有監戒之意，而無憂懼之情。似亦道已然之事，而非慮其將然之詞。今亦未能必其然否也。 |
