陸扆《唐書》本傳：字祥文，贄族孫。光啟二年，擢進士第，累遷翰林學士、中書舍人。扆工屬詞，敏速若注射然，一時書命，同僚自以為不及。昭宗嘗作賦，詔左右皆和，扆最先就。帝覽之，歎曰：「貞元時，陸贄、吳通元兄弟善內廷文書，後無繼者，今朕得之」。累為尚書左丞，徙戶部侍郎、同中書門下平章事。從遷洛，桞㻧附朱全忠謀去衣冠，有望者殺之白馬驛。
