27  | 増《釋名》曰：矛，冒也，刃下冒矜也。下頭曰鐏，鐏入地也。松櫝，長三尺，其矜宜輕，以松作之也。櫝，速櫝也，前刺之言也。矛長丈八尺曰矟。馬上所持，言其矟矟便殺也。又曰：激矛，激截也，可以激截敵陣之矛也。仇矛頭有三叉，言可以討仇敵之矛也。夷矛，夷常也。其矜長丈六尺。不言常，而云夷者，言其可夷滅敵，亦車上所持也。䓮矛，長九尺者也。䓮，霍也，所中霍然，即破裂也。 《方言》曰：五湖之間，矛謂之鍦，或謂之鋋，或謂之鏦，其柄謂之鈐。 《書牧誓》曰：「稱爾戈比爾干立爾矛。 《禮記》曰：「進矛㦸者，前其鐓後其刃」。 《尉繚子》曰：殺人於百步之外者，弓矢也。殺人於五十歩之內者，矛㦸也」。 《六韜》曰：「紂之卒，握炭流湯者十八人，綰矛殺百步之外者千人」。 |
