Example usage

《论语·乡党》:当暑，袗絺綌，必表而出之。
In warm weather, he had a single garment either of coarse or fine texture, but he wore it displayed over an inner garment.
《孟子·尽心下》:及其为天子也，被袗衣，鼓琴，二女果，若固有之。
When he became sovereign, and had the embroidered robes to wear, the lute to play, and the two daughters of Yao to wait on him, he was as if those things belonged to him as a matter of course.
《礼记·曲礼下》:龟策、几杖、席盖、重素、袗絺綌，不入公门。
One should not enter the ruler's gate, (carrying with him) a tortoise-shell or divining stalks, a stool or a staff, mats or (sun-)shades, or having his upper and lower garments both of white or in a single robe of fine or coarse hempen cloth.
