绗焚洲，抱朴子云：绗焚洲在南海中，薰綠水膠所出，膠如楓脂矣，所以不可多得者，止患狤●上音吉，下音屈。獸啖人。此獸大者重十斤，狀如水獺，其頭身及他處了無毛，唯從鼻上以竟脊至尾上有毛，廣一寸許，青毛長三四分許，其無毛處則如韋囊。人張捕得之，斬刺不傷，積薪烈火，縛以投火中，薪盡而此獸不焦。須以大杖打之，皮不傷而骨碎都盡，乃死耳。
