| | Da Hao governed with virtue, establishing spring and yang during his reign. My sovereign diligently ceased, arriving at Xiao Huang. The numerous officials gathered, adjusting their robes as they ascended the hall; thus they were instructed and exhorted, shown the model of law and righteousness. Investigate guilt according to intent, examine cases according to circumstances. Reverent of excessive punishment, they only sought leniency. For those guilty of minor offenses, spare their lives and allow them to live. The profound transformation was harmonious; the common people thus found peace. Therefore, a eulogy is composed to brightly proclaim virtue and reputation.
