11 | 体论: | 若夫主明而臣暗,主暗而臣僞,有尽忠不见信,有见信而不尽忠,溷淆于臣主之分,出入于治乱之间,或被褐怀玉以待时,或巧言令色以容身,又可胜尽哉。是以古之全其道者,进则正,退则曲,正则与世乐其业,曲则全身归于道,不傲世以华衆,不立高以为名,不为苟得以偷安,不为苟免而无耻,夫修之于乡闾,坏之于朝廷,可惜也。修之于己立,坏之于阖棺,可惜也。君子惜兹二者,是以有杀身以成仁,无求生以害仁,况害仁以求宠乎。故孔子曰:不义而富且贵,于我如浮云,若夫智虑足以图国,忠贞足以悟主,公平足以怀衆,温柔足以服人,不排毁以取进,不刻人以自入,不苟容以隐忠,不耽禄以伤高,通则使上恤其下,穷则教下顺其上,故用于上则民安,行于下则君尊,可谓进不失忠,退不失行,此正士之义,为臣之体也。 |
