《晋中兴书》曰：刘隗从兄畴，字王乔，有重名。司空蔡谟每叹曰：若使刘王乔得南渡，司徒公之美选也。 又曰：蔡谟让司徒，孝帝临轩，自平旦至日中，使者十馀反，而谟不至，孝帝时年八岁，甚怒之极。问左右曰：所召何以不至，今来临轩，何时当竟。皇太后诏曰：必不来者，宜罢朝。中军殷浩奏曰：免吏部尚书江彪官，于是公卿奏送谟廷尉，以正刑书，谟惧，率子弟，素服诣阙，到廷尉待罪，诏可依旧制，免为庶人。 |
