《后魏书》曰：平文皇后王氏，广宁人。年十三，因事入宫，得幸于平文，生昭成。平文崩，昭成在襁褓，时国有内难，将害诸皇子，后匿帝于袴中，惧人知，祝曰：“若天祚未终者，汝便无声。”遂良久不啼，得免于难。烈帝之崩，国祚殆危，兴复大业，后之力也。十八年，崩，葬云中金陵。太祖即位，配飨太庙。
